This Saturday I came out to an event at The Body Shop at Northpark with a gaggle of other DFW bloggers. (I know that gaggle is for geese, but there really should be a collective noun for bloggers. Maybe a “posting of bloggers”? Or a “vanity of bloggers”? I’ll work on it and get back to you.) We got our makeup done, partook in free food, and generally got pampered. It was AWESOME.
That stuff in the bottle, the Honey Bronze, is magical (It contains no actual honey, so it’s vegan. I checked.) It makes you look like you were airbrushed by God. Or at least by whoever does the cover of Shape. It gives you just the right amount of glittery golden-ness. Here it is on Erin of Work With What You’ve Got:
In case you can’t tell, it’s on her right arm and not her left. Erin also said to put it in your hair to make it manageable and shiny. Trying that ASAP.
Aren’t Elissa’s rings fab? I might have a girl crush on her. Or a regular crush. Whatever. She’s at Dress With Courage.
I physically can’t pass up an opportunity to have my makeup done. I wore a denim bustier from Urban Outfitters, a tulle layered skirt from H&M, and the necklace I made myself by basically twisting together a ton of jewelery I don’t wear anymore.
Girl crush? Back atcha babe. I had a ball hanging out with you. And the thrifting? Too much fun. Must happen again. Soon.
