This weekend I went to the Deep Ellum Arts Festival where there were local artists and bands and jugglers. Yes, jugglers.
I attempted to tie a turbanĀ a la The Glamourai, but it’s not as easy as she makes it look. I also might not be able to pull off a turban, but I won’t let that deter me from practicing scarf origami until I have something resembling a turban atop my head. I settled for a scarf-as-headband instead.
I ate a Tex-Mex place called Monica’s that has vegan enchiladas! They were marked on the menu and everything! And they were delicious. These are them:
