A couple of Saturdays ago I got together with some of the lovely ladies from the DFW Blogger Network. We went shopping at Charming Charlie’s. It’s a magical land filled with rainbows and sparkles and unicorns. OK, not unicorns. But there were tons and tons of rhinestones, which is almost as good.
I wore a hot pink leopard print bra, a black sequined miniskirt, leopard booties, and feather earrings. In one ear. I didn’t buy that headband. I regret it.
This is Elissa of Dress with Courage. I don’t know how we let her walk out of there without that hat. Adorbs.
Julie of rosy+tart and her new camera, Lola. In Julie’s words, “She’s a bit of a showgirl.” So are you, Julie, so are you.

I wore a sequined miniskirt to drink a very large soy latte because cocktail wear should not be limited to cocktail hour. Also, daytime sequins are seriously happening.
The jean jacket is my favorite one from Old Navy a thousand years ago, and the sheer white shirt and sequin skirt are both from Express. I see all of these pieces as neutrals, so I threw on some teal eyeliner just under my bottom lashes to add a pop of color. Also, putting eyeliner only on the bottom of your eyes kind of makes you look like a badass. Try it.
These ice cream cones were at the coffee shop and they are pretty.
Alex was there too. She’s also pretty.
These are her loafers. Love.
